Definition Our founder, Nimay Gupta gave a talk at a Vision India centre for training youth from rural backgrounds in electronics under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana. Along with motivating the youth to accept their backgrounds and make the most of the resources available to them, he also raised awareness about albinism, talking about the challenges that come with it and how the young people could be a friend to someone with albinism or low vision. The themes of empowerment, lifting one another up, and breaking barriers were emphasised in the talk, which will help all of us, including those with albinism grow together and beat challenges head on.
